Call for Tutorials – CLOSED

Scope: the 12^th Advanced Satellite Multimedia Systems Conference and the 18^th Signal Processing for Space Communications Workshop seeks half-day (3-4 hours) tutorial proposals (taking place on site) on new and emerging topics within the scope of satellite communications, networking, and architecture., with a special focus on NTN (non terrestrial networks)
Submission and deadlines:
- Proposals should be submitted for review via EDAS in a PDF file, not exceeding 2 pages.
- Deadline: 15.09.2024
- Acceptance notification: 30.09.2024
Recommended outline of proposals: proposals should concisely and clearly describe the content and objectives of the tutorial, and must include:
- Abstract, objectives and motivation, target audience.
- Name and a short biography of each tutorial presenter, highlighting especially the relevant expertise of the speaker(s) on the topic of the tutorial, previous tutorial experience of the speaker(s) and/or past versions of the tutorial if applicable
- A description of the topics that the tutorial will address, emphasizing their timeliness and relevance.
- An outline of the tutorial content, including its tentative schedule and the presenters for different parts.
- Preferred day
- State whether a similar tutorial has been offered by others in recent (last two years) conferences and how your tutorial differs.
